Together with Chelsea Prospers—the City of Chelsea's initiative for neighborhood vitality—Amanda and artist, Carolyn Lewenberg, worked with a cohort of creative individuals and artists to install wheatpaste art pieces and painted murals in Chelsea, MA. As a part of this project, Amanda and Carolyn hosted several workshops and one-on-one sessions to assist participants with their artmaking and design.

HULL ART WALK & GARDEN

The Hull Artwalk transformed an abandoned pedestrian walkway and parking lot into a mutli-faceted public art installation off Nantasket Avenue, connecting the beach and the bay. The opening was Sept 4, 2019, and a ceremony hosted by the Hull Economic Development Committee and the Board of Selectmen. This day is now listed in the public record as “Hull Artwalk Day!” Read more about the Artwalk and Art Garden here

BEYOND WALLS LYNN

Beyond Walls activates underused public spaces to strengthen communities. While at Beyond Walls, Amanda oversaw the organization's operations and fundraising. Additionally, she coordinated the annual Mural Festival and assisted with several of the organization's other placemaking projects. Other projects included: the installation of lighting under three MBTA underpasses and the installation of over a dozen vintage neon pieces. 2017 Gateway Cities Award Recipient.

NORTHAMPTON DRAWS

July 2012

While working at the Northampton Center for the Arts, Amanda single-handedly initiated, developed, and produced a free town-wide drawing festival, which drew 250+ participants, a cohort of teaching artists, and volunteers.
